Anton Barreneche is a lifelong resident of Argentina. Anton has always been artistic, he was born with the soul of an artist. He is a self taught artist, as lessons in fine art are not readily available in Argentina. He has studied various art techniques that he has found on the internet. He came to New Hampshire in the spring of 2016 to study with the fine artist, and long standing member of the Boston Guild, Dennis Sheehan. Dennis has inspired Anton to explore tonalism and portraiture in grisaille. Anton has returned to New Hampshire to paint en plien air, from the White Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. He also studied with our local NH Masters, Todd Bonita, Christopher Volpe, and Alastair Dacey. Anton is represented by the Ceres Gallery in Portsmouth, NH, where he has quickly become a top selling artist.
